As Armed Forces Day passed this weekend, and with Memorial Day weekend coming up, Malik Jackson through his charity, Malik’s Gifts, teamed up with Helping Hands for Freedom and the Florida National Guard’s Survivor Outreach Services to host a Fallen Hero Tribute and Survivor Stampede picnic at the Diamond D Horse Ranch. Close to 200 military children and families came together on a day that was meant to connect families and create a support network to help them cope with the loss of a family member and to honor their service member’s sacrifice for our country. A special area for personal tributes and the families’ memorabilia were on display. Activities included pony carousel, wagon rides, dixie cartwheel, bounce house and catch & release fishing. Thanks, Malik Jackson for your support of military children and families. It truly was a great day for the families

Jacksonville, FL – Wednesday, December 7, 2016
Malik Jackson joined the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida team last night for the Super Bowl of Ping Pong challenge. A major focus of Malik’s Gifts is to serve the at-risk youth community. Malik has chosen to partner with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida and the Jaguars Foundation to provide brand new ping pong tables for all 12 local clubs. Malik knows how important it is for children to have a “safe haven” during non-school hours and how important it is to have the game center updated and enjoyable for the kids.

The Boys & Girls Clubs have long been recognized for the award winning and innovative programs. Working with President, Paul Martinez, Malik hopes this is only the beginning to a partnership that makes a difference. Over 100 kids from the 12 club locations joined Malik and participated in the tournament.
